Goose Bay was built in 2007 and is owned by Ellen, Ron, Michael and Margaret. The house features a first floor bedroom and two bedrooms and a loft on the second floor. Each bedroom has its own bath. The living room has a two-story vaulted ceiling and a wood-burning fireplace. Each bedroom has a deck and there is a first floor screened porch. Each room features fabulous view. The living room looks west where the sun can be setting over two ponds, frequently inhabited by geese. The name of the house comes from two sources—the geese that can be so easily seen in the neighborhood, and from Michael’s childhood memories when he lived in Goose Bay, Labrador. This House Rents Sunday to Sunday
Michael and Margaret also own A Summer Place on the same plot of land. It’s come full circle because Ellen was a partner in the ownership of A Summer Place for a time. Both houses would be perfect for family reunions or other activities involving a large group. Goose Bay sleeps 6-8 and A Summer Place sleeps 8-10. Special Rate begining August 17, 2008 $ 1200.00 per week.
